In order to ensure your safety as well as the safety of our housekeeping staff, we adhere to the government advice and guidelines with regard to bookings and cleanliness.
The Visit England We're Good To Go industry standard and supporting mark means that we have demonstrated that we are adhering to the respective government and public health guidance, we have carried out a Covid-19 risk assessment and we have checked that we have the required processes in place.
AA Covid Confident accreditation indicates that we have in place the necessary risk assessment, safety measures and staff training to reopen safely, in line with the UK's respective government guidelines as well as UK Hospitality and respective trade association guidelines, as they are published.
Accreditation involves a six stage process including the completion of a risk assessment document, the provision of evidence that relevant safety procedures and measures are in place and demonstrating that staff training has occurred. In addition, participants must complete an online self-assessment and sign up to the Covid Confident Charter, a code of conduct that includes a commitment to update procedures and measures as guidelines change, and to submit to future audits as required.
Guests need to check our booking terms and conditions about COVID before arriving at the Dolphins Apartment in order to ensure that they are adhering to the government guidelines in force at that time. Please call Jenny or Steve if you have any concerns.
The Apartment is deep cleaned between each booking and therefore guests are requested to leave by 10am on their last day and not enter the property until 5pm. Cleaning is carried out by staff we know personally and every care is made to ensure all surfaces are cleaned to a high standard of hygiene and in accordance with COVID hygiene guidelines. Soft furnishings have been kept to a minimum and cushions etc will be changed with each booking to allow for quarantining.
There are no carpets or rugs.
Crockery and cutlery will be changed / deep cleaned after each booking.
Linen, towels and tea towels are provided. To help housekeeping, guests are asked to strip the beds and place all dirty linen and towels in the laundry bags provided. This is to include the mattress, pillow and duvet protectors, which are washed and changed after each stay.
